Harrassment/Ethical Issues |
||
All coaches accredited within the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme are required to sign on to abide by their sports code of ethics for coaches. Coaches are expected to behave in an ethical and responsible manner, however, it is the responsibility of the national sporting organisation to manage the implementation of their code and to take action against inappropriate behaviour by their members. You should therefore speak with your National Sporting Organisation to find out more about their Codes of Ethics, their complaints mechanisms and their disciplinary procedures. Use the following link to find out the contact details for your sport. Further information about harassment in sport can be found on the Active Australia Website
